Protecting and safeguarding assets of your organization is one of the primary fiduciary responsibilities of management and the board. Is your organization protected? Are you vulnerable to fraud? During this session we’ll discuss real-world fraud cases to learn how simple controls can help prevent big problems.
Andy joined Aldrich CPAs + Advisors LLP in 2002 and specializes in audits of nonprofit organizations, agreed-upon procedures, consulting work, and attest work for closely-held companies. Over his time in public accounting, Andy has served over 100 nonprofits at all levels as an associate through partner. He leads the Nonprofit + Governmental niche firmwide and is responsible for the professional development of the entire team. Andy currently sits on the board of directors and serves on the executive, audit, and finance committees of a nonprofit organization. He is actively involved with many local nonprofit organizations and speaks regularly on professional development and governance topics. |
Jennifer has been serving clients in the nonprofit and governmental industry since 2013. Over the years, she has worked closely with many nonprofit organizations of various size and complexity, including single audits under the Uniform Grant Guidance (formerly OMB A-133) and organizations with program funding and reporting through the California Department of Education. She graduated from San Diego State University where she is also currently completing her MBA degree. Additionally, she is part of the Board Fellows program at the university which gives students an opportunity to be involved as a non-voting member of a local nonprofit board. |
